So family knowledge isn't lost
Names, dates and stories are often scattered — in church registers, shoeboxes, old letters and the memories of older relatives. MyArboris helps you bring that knowledge together, record every fact with its source and organize it so the next generation can still make sense of it.
Four core ideas
Research
Record people, events and places — by hand, or by importing a GEDCOM file from another program.
Document
Every fact can carry its evidence: the source, the exact citation and the document itself.
Organize
Tree, people, sources and map work together. MyArboris points out open research gaps on its own.
Preserve
Your data stays private and can be exported at any time — so the knowledge is never tied to one program.
Everything in one place
Tree, people, sources and research in one calm workspace — light or dark, at your desk or on the go.

More than names and dates
Family history research means being able to back up every claim. MyArboris models the hierarchy research actually needs.
1. Source
The register, book, or archive item itself — a church register, a civil register, or a publication.
2. Citation
The exact location within the source — page, folio, entry number, or record.
3. Evidence
The scan, photo, or PDF that actually shows the citation.

Planned
From research to a family book
We are working towards turning the people, life stories, photos and sources in MyArboris into a carefully designed family book — to print, to give and to pass on.
This feature does not exist yet. Everything you record and document properly today is already the foundation for it.
